Responsibilities and Tasks

• Develop and implement Tester frameworks to monitor and improve Engineering performance.
• Craft and implement continuous improvement projects to optimize Test yield and cycle time.
• Provide strategic support in product test proliferation and manage excursion activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Boise NPI, to ensure flawless Test procedures.
• Identify and address hazards promptly, adhering strictly to safety protocols and area work rules.
• Ensure equipment and tools are used and maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s and company guidelines.
• Implement suitable lifting techniques and uphold ergonomically accurate work practices.
  
  

Education Required

• Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field of study
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Test and Debug within the SMTA field.
• High self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong experimental design and data analysis skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English being advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and personalities.
• Experience interacting with SIG and customer groups across various levels of an organization.
• Prior experience with equipment in wafer Probe, Test, or Burn-in environments is a plus.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Test and Debug in Product engineering.
• In-depth understanding of Test process flows, controls, and interactions.
• Solid knowledge of how process changes and defect mechanisms impact Test yield, performance, and reliability.
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in coordinating engineering efforts across multiple project groups.
• Ability to resolve complex, technical, or ambiguous requests and problems effectively.
  
  

Travel

• Willingness to travel occasionally for product transfers.
• Must possess a valid passport or be eligible for international travel.
