Tax Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in tax advisory, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and providing tax solutions to clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tax advisory services to clients, offering solutions for both direct and indirect tax issues, including corporate tax, individual tax, GST/SST, and tax incentives.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and tax compliance filings for clients, ensuring adherence to statutory deadlines and regulations.
• Conduct tax research to stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide recommendations to clients on tax planning opportunities.
• Support clients in tax audits, including preparation of necessary documentation and liaising with tax authorities.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations related to tax matters for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in managing client relationships and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate with senior team members in the development and execution of tax strategies for clients.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and strategies that align with the clients' objectives and business goals.
• Advise clients on tax structuring, mergers & acquisitions, transfer pricing, and other tax-related matters.
• Assist in managing projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (professional qualifications such as CTA, ACA, ACCA, or similar will be an advantage).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax advisory or tax compliance roles, ideally in a professional services environment (Big 4 or mid-sized firm experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of Malaysian tax laws and regulations, including corporate tax, SST, transfer pricing, and tax incentives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with tax software.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
