Teacher (Physics and Combined Science) - Johor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physics & Combined Science Teacher to join our team. This role involves teaching Year 10 and Year 11 students in the secondary school division. The ideal candidate should be committed to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment, with a strong focus on effective lesson delivery tailored to each student's abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subject Teaching: Teach Physics and Combined Science to Year 10 and Year 11 students, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and addressing individual learning needs.
• Curriculum Planning: Prepare detailed schemes of work and lesson plans for assigned subjects, aligning with school objectives and standards.
• Effective Lesson Delivery: Engage students through well-structured lessons and adapt instructional strategies based on their learning abilities.
• Student Assessment: Monitor, assess, and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback to the Academic Head and parents where necessary.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and technology integration to enhance classroom experiences.
• Department Coordination: Opportunity to lead or coordinate within the department as the school expands further.
• English Proficiency: Excellent command of English is essential.
• Technology Proficiency: Capable of conducting online classes effectively and utilizing digital tools to enhance learning.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Minimum Degree in Education, Teaching, Training, or equivalent qualifications related to secondary education.
• Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience, with strong expertise in Physics and Combined Science. Experience in an international school or with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum is an advantage.
• Core Competencies: Strong commitment to education, with a proactive, compassionate, and innovative approach to teaching.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; fluency in multiple languages is an asset. Must be computer literate and proficient in delivering presentations.
