We are seeking a proactive and experienced Trucking Operation Manager to lead and optimize our trucking operations in City Zone Express. This role ensures timely, safe, and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional customer service.
How you create impact- Supervise and manage all aspects of daily trucking operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and optimizing routes.
- Ensure goods are transported safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Oversee vehicle and driver assignments while coordinating with fleet maintenance teams to ensure proper upkeep.
- Lead and develop a team of drivers and operational support staff.
- Maintain compliance with local and federal transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Manage trucking customer service representatives and planning teams.
- Drive customer satisfaction and ensure operations adhere to ISO standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries related to trucking services.
- Work closely with the customer service team to resolve service issues promptly.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, vehicle utilization, and fuel efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular operational performance reports and improvement plans to senior management.
- Diploma or Degree in
Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience
intrucking
or logistics operations.- Proficient in
TMS software
andMicrosoft Office
applications. - Strong
