Vice President of Engineering

We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Vice President of Engineering to provide strategic leadership and technical expertise for our dynamic technology team. As the VP of Engineering, you will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and guide the development of cutting-edge solutions that propel our company's growth. You will be a key member of the leadership team, shaping the technology vision and executing on a roadmap that aligns with our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of scalable, robust, and high-quality software products and solutions.

• Drive the exploration and integration of emerging technologies, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry trends.

• Establish processes and methodologies that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• MS/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields with strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience. Strong plus if also knows C++ and backend well
• 3+ years of professional engineering management experience
• Programming experience and understanding of modern technology including: (ReactJS/React Native, NodeJS, Kubernetes, GCP, MongoDB, Docker)
• Experience managing cloud operations for reliability, scalability, and security in GCP/AWS
• Strong sense of responsibility; driving initiatives from inception to completion
