Job Responsibilities
- Designing (which includes creating wireframes to decide on layout), developing, testing & debugging and ensuring software documentation is updated.
- Enhancing and maintaining software and systems to a secure, healthy and stable state
- Conducting research and keeping abreast of latest web development methods, tools and technologies. And explore new technologies in line with the product strategy and development direction.
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, JQuery, REST, AJAX, Angular, TypeScript, Spring MVC for Web and Mobile Apps Development.
- Familiar with various frameworks and technologies, i.e. CodeIgniter, Bootstrap, Spring Boot, REST, JAX-RS, Swagger.
- Familiar with various open source technologies and IDE (eg. Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse, VS Code)
- Experience with RDBMS and Big Data Storage technologies (i.e. MySQL, MariaDB, PosgreSQL MS SQL, Oracle, DB, Hive/Impala).
- Shell scripting on UNIX platforms.
- Understand web application security and security integration methods.
