Assistant Supervisor

About the role

As an Assistant Supervisor at Ms Elliot at Hock Bee, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front office and guest services. This full-time position is based in Kuantan Pahang, where you will work alongside a dedicated team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the Supervisor in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the front office and guest services
• Greeting and welcoming guests, and providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Handling guest inquiries, reservations, and check-in/check-out processes efficiently
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the front of house area
• Providing on-the-job training and guidance to front office team members
• Assisting with the implementation of operational policies and procedures
• Identifying and addressing any guest concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a front of house or guest services role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and team members effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
• A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate in other languages an advantage
