The Role The Financial Accountant role will be primarily responsible for the completion of accounting, including preparation of general ledger reconciliations, month end reporting and assistance with regulatory returns as required Areas of responsibility
  • Month end reporting including accrual accounting and accounting for prepayments
  • Preparation of general ledger reconciliations
  • Journal preparation
  • Accounting for fixed assets including IFRS 16
  • Accounting for inventory
  • Liaising with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting team
  • Provision of accounting advice to other business divisions
  • Audit and Tax queries
  • Local Internal control lead - Bwise
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required
Your profile
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting
  • 5 years of experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and committed to strict levels of confidentiality
  • Meet key deliverables and a team player who enjoys working collaboratively
  • Attention to details
