Job purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to co-ordinate, plan and manage external communications for the Berjaya group to maintain, grow and protect the Berjaya brand.
Duties and responsibilities
- Planning, developing and implementing Public Relations (PR) strategies.
- Managing enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations.
- Organising events including CSR campaigns, press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours.
- Managing and sharing content with users on corporate website and social media.
- Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation.
- Creating and managing collaterals.
- Analysing media coverage and media monitoring.
- Write high quality creative communication material/content through your own work and working through others in the team.
- Record and analyse campaign and channel metrics to support production of a monthly communications dashboard.
- Produce annual reports for Berjaya listed companies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 - 8years relevant working experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent, hardworking, fast-learner and team player with ability to multi-task.
- A proactive person who is flexible and able to provide creative solutions.
