We are looking for a Senior Material Planner based in Malaysia to make an impact!

SUMMARY OF JOB

To involve in purchasing activities including issue Purchase Order and Purchase Requisition, Request For Quote, etc.
To follow up with supplier to ensure timely delivery of goods ordered.
To update SAP MRP database timely to ensure system has accurate info.
To review safety stock decisions and timely update on usage evolution
To involve in supplier selection and evaluation process.
To monitor commodity to ensure sufficient stock.
To maintain a proper record of purchase, quotation and suppliers information.
To liaise with shipping department on materials import shipment.
To coordinate and support finance if there is invoicing issue from suppliers.
To carry out other duties as and when directed by the Management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED

Degree in any discipline with good command of English
Team work player and willing to work extra if it is required
Computer literacy is a necessary.
