Our client is seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to join their team in Shah Alam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be accountable for the profitable growth of service, hire and workshop activities within the branch.

The successful candidate will have the chance to provide guidelines on avenues of service revenue and adapt to market or customer requirements. This role requires a strong leader who can empower workshop staff through training and sound leadership, ensuring they take ownership and responsibility for actions to meet objectives.

What You'll Do

As a Service Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's operations in Shah Alam. You will be responsible for overseeing After Market & Service orders, ensuring the efficiency of the service production team, and maintaining essential records. Your role will also involve managing testing and commissioning processes, working closely with various teams on monitoring and control solutions, as well as developing comprehensive training plans for technicians. You will also play a key role in implementing strategic plans in collaboration with local Sales and Service organizations, tracking service utilization, and ensuring prompt responses to Service Requests.

  • Responsible for After Market & Service orders & performance of the assigned Territory.
  • Ensure efficiency of the service production team in meeting order & sales budget.
  • Maintain records for report filing and data entry.
  • Prepare warranty claims and maintain a safe and tidy work shop environment.
  • Manage Testing and Commissioning prior to Defect Liability Period.
  • Work with Project and other functions on solutions for Monitoring & Control development.
  • Develop technician training plan for technician grading and development.
  • Implement and execute plans in cooperation with local Sales and Service organization.
  • Track service utilization and service efficiency.
  • Ensure timely response to Service Requests.

A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering is required for this role.
