We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teacher to work with primary and secondary students who have mild learning and behavioral needs. Job Responsibilities:

- Provide Direct Instruction and Support: Deliver age-appropriate, engaging lessons across core subjects that build academic and social skills for both primary and secondary students.

- Classroom Management and Environment: Create a structured and positive learning environment that encourages participation, confidence, and growth.

- Assessment and Progress Tracking: Regularly assess student progress and adapt instruction as necessary. Keep accurate records of student achievements and areas for improvement.

- Collaboration with Team Members: Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to each student’s development.

- Communication with Families: Maintain open and regular communication with parents and guardians to discuss progress, celebrate milestones, and offer strategies for supporting learning at home.

- Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in special education for students with mild special needs and participate in professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field. Additional certification in Special Education is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with children or adolescents with mild special needs in an educational setting.

- Skills and Attributes:

- Knowledge of mild learning disabilities and behavioral challenges.

- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching approach.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.

- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for both primary and secondary students.

- A creative, problem-solving mindset to engage and motivate students with mild special needs.
